AR9000 Friction Modifiers

Friction Modifiers also referred to as solid boundary lubricants are used in oil and greases to reduce friction. ARCHOIL nano friction modifiers serve multi functions – friction reduction, anti-corrosion and extreme pressure agent; they also maintain a clean fluid system. The toxic chemicals used in most oils are becoming obsolete and at some point will be replaced with a superior, non-toxic alternative. Replacing the AW/EP package with one of ARCHOIL nanoparticle compounds saves on the bottom line and produces a superior finished product. ARCHOIL friction modifiers may also be directly added to any engine oil, gearbox, hydraulic system to greatly reduce wear, increase performance and save on energy cost.

AR9100 Friction Modifier & System Cleaner is an advanced oil additive pack utilising nanoborate technology suspended in an ester complex. Nanoborate is delivered to metal surfaces where it reduces friction and provides outstanding extreme pressure, anti-wear and anti-corrosive protection for engines, transmissions, axles and similar lubricating systems. AR9100 also helps extend oil life and keeps components clean.

AR9100 provides excellent load carrying, anti-wear and anti-corrosion properties as well as engine cleaning capabilities.  CoF is tested at 0.037 at 3,750lbs.

AR9100 is suitable for petrol and diesel engines and is miscible with mineral, semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oils.

AR9100 Industrial Friction Modifier Aerosol is an advanced lubricating spray utilising Archoil’s proprietary nanoborate technology.

AR9100 provides excellent penetrating, load carrying, anti-wear and anti-corrosion properties with the active nanoborate delivering a chemical bond to metal surfaces.

AR9100 is suitable for metal-based components, hinges, chains and moving parts where lubrication and protection are required.

AR9200 V2 Friction Modifier Nano Mo-WS2 Ester Complex is a unique high performance, synthetic ester based additive pack utilising Molybdenum & Nano Tungsten Disulfide (Mo-WS2 ) next-generation lubrication technology, providing advanced anti-wear and friction modification properties to the engine oil in street petrol and diesel or race derived engines.

Synthetic Nano WS2 is one of the most lubricious substances in the world and combined with Molybdenum provides longer-lasting and far superior performance to conventional anti-wear additives. The load bearing ability of the surface treated with AR9200 V2 is extremely high at over 4,200,000 PSI with over 5,000,000 PSI shock load capability, 15 times more than the previous generation Nano WS2.

AR9200 V2 penetrates and helps restore worn surfaces and the new lubricating micro-thin film provides an ultra-low coefficient of friction (COF 0.03) that prevents sticking, wear, corrosion and oxidation. It is suitable for use in all four stroke petrol or diesel engines, including turbocharged, direct injection, with or without particulate filter (DPF) or three way catalytic convertors (TWC). AR9200 V2 can be added to any viscosity class mineral or synthetic oil with low, medium or full SAPS rating.

AR9400 Friction Modifier Synergistic Oil Complex is a synergistic, multifunctional friction modifier and oil boosting complex. It delivers additional high temperature resistance, stability and reduction in friction and wear to existing engine oils.

AR9400 is designed to reduce piston ring sticking, promote clean engine operation and prolong the usable life of engine oils, especially crude oil derived base stocks (API Group I to III) but also fully synthetic PAO/ester (API Group IVV) oils whilst improving fuel economy in day to day driving.

AR9400 is suitable for use in all four stroke petrol or diesel engines, including turbocharged, direct injection, with or without particulate filter (DPF) or three way catalytic convertors (TWC). AR9400 can be added to any viscosity class mineral or synthetic oil with low, medium or full SAPS rating.
